Am I allowed to do this?

I'm a young up coming rapper. There is this song off a album ( Its not
a single ) but I wanna remix it. I wanna keep the chorus on it tho
because it fits with the song that I'm writing about. Unfortunately
they don't have the instrumental with the hook, they only have it
without the hook. So my plan was to use the same chorus but record it
myself since they don't have the instrumental with the chorus already
on it. Am I allowed to do this? Its not like I'm a big artist or
anything. I'm just a kid aspiring to be a rapper working on a mixtape.
 I'm not tryna copy or steal his chorus or anything like that.
